裁判官・検察官・弁護士に占める女性の割合は増加しており、昭和 60（1985）年の裁判官 3.3％、 検察官 1.3％、弁護士 4.8％が、平成 28（2016）年にはそれぞれ、20.7%、17.1％、18.3％となって いる。
