ストーカー規制法の適用状況をみると、都では平成 27（2015）年には「警察本部長等の援助」が 446 件で最も多く、次いで「警告」が 416 件であった。全国では平成 27（2015）年には「警察本部長等 の援助」が 8,139 件で最も多く、次いで「警告」が 3,375 件であった。
