全国の警察が取り扱った配偶者からの暴力事案の認知件数は、平成 27（2015）年は 63,141 件であ り、前年に比べて 4,069 件（6.9％）増加した。また、配偶者暴力防止法に基づく保護命令等に係る 警察の対応状況は、平成 27（2015）年は、「裁判所からの書面の提出要求」が 2,794 件、「裁判所か らの保護命令の通知」が 2,415 件となっている。
