三宅島については、雄山環状線を幹線として、他に下表のとおり縦線が 9 路線ある。雄山環状 線及び清水線については国の災害査定を受け、復旧事業に取組んでいる。御蔵島では、黒崎高尾 線を幹線として、他に 1 路線ある。本来の目的である林産物搬出だけでなく、観光等多目的に活 用されているため、今後も災害・事故等の予防に努め、改良事業を進めていく必要がある。
